I'm studying at the University of Nicosia starting this summer and am black. I've read a lot that men in Cyprus do not find black women attractive at all. Is this true? I really would like to find someone I can really connect with while I'm in Cyprus but am scared I won't be able to because of my skin color. Help!

or:Well, it looks like a beautiful country to visit and explore, go there with that intent, not to \"connect\" with. Enjoy all the country and culture has to offer! In living and studying, you grow and learn and you never know who or what you might come accross. Also, search for some African American/Black Expatriate sites/forums and see if you can find someone with similar experiences or suggestions. Good luck to you, sounds like a wonderful opportunity.
