My partner and I have recently started having unprotected sex. We had sex multiple times in the two weeks prior, leading up to my period. The last time was three days before my period was due. My period is now 4 days overdue. I have however, had about a teaspoon of what appears to be a very light pinkish/brownish mucus. My pregnancy test is negative.

or:I had the same thing happen to me, the first time it was negative, and when I repeated it again after 2 weeks it turned out positive. Not to get you alarmed, but ask him to use protection and if it is still negative (you could repeat it once a week) after 2 weeks, its unlikely. But you might get lucky and get your period in a couple of days :) you never know.
