Become a preschool teacher in FL with no college degree but High School Diploma +CDC?

I'm a 27yr old female originally from Sri Lanka and will be moving to FL around summer 2012 after? getting married to my American boyfriend from Orlando, FL this winter. I wish to become a preschool teacher in FL. I have no college degree but I have diploma in preschool director. (one year full time course). I also have 6 yrs experience working as a full time teacher in Sri Lanka teaching piano music, speech and drama for the age group 2.5- 12.
I'm hoping to follow the CDC course at a technical career center and then look for a preschool or any related childcare center job. Do you think my 6yrs work experience being a full time teacher + diploma in preschool director +CDC will get me a job somewhere? What's the chance?
I'd like to start at a low key and work my way up through my career. But I hear that finding a job in a preschool in FL is very difficult. Could you kindly offer me any advice? How should I give it a start? I'd be grateful
