or:Go to Radio Shack or similar store selling electronic parts and ask for a rectifier heavy enough for the amp load you put on it. Unsure of what you need it for but probably the bridge type is what you need. Tell them what you are doing to get the right one.Just be sure to hook it up correct(most are marked for line & polarity.) I use that method making battery chargers.
