I can't connect to the wireless internet on windows 7?

I recently switched platforms from mac to a PC i bought from a friend. I have a problem connecting to the wireless internet. I can connect to ethernet through a cable into the modem, and that works; I can connect to the wireless network that the modem broadcasts, but the network by itself won't give me internet. The computer claims that it is a no-internet network, which is ridiculous; I'm posting from it on my mac right now. My drivers are up to date, I've disconnected and reconnected the modem and restarted the computer several times in several different orders. What can I do to fix this?

or:My comp has the same prob lol!!! well try to go to wifi settings. diconnect the wifi then connect it again. It should work. And the other possibility is that you installed a program that had a virus in it. And it disrupted the connection. Hope it was helpful! :)
