And no,being a male fashion designer is definitely not gay.If you think you are talented then you should try because it's a shame not to value your talents.Also,remember that not all the people are supportive and well intended and there will always be someone who will tell you mean things.But trust me,they will do it out of envy,so it depends on you if you want to go on despite of others.Never give up when it comes to your dream! :)
