Is it a good idea to ask a girls friend to ask the girl if she likes you?

Well, i am 11 and in my last year of elementary. (5th Grade) There is this new girl and she has great looks. I am hoping to get her to like me by atleast 6th grade. Problem is we have been in school together for about 2 months. So i was thinking of asking her friend to ask her is she likes me. I would be like "Hey, can you ask (name) if she likes me? And if she says yes, tell her i like her too." I am not really able to ask her myself, for there are no moments. When we are on the bus home, (we live near each other) she is talking to her best friend. When we are at recess, well, all the girls huddle up to talk about who knows what. And we are not in the same class. Any help? And plz just give good answers. I don't want her to think i am weird. (Or atleast any weirder, cause she probably already thinks so)

or:i am in the same grade so i could probably help.... i want to do the same thing so what i did was i said to the girls friend does so-and -so like me and if they say no just leav them be say yes then try to ask the girl's friend if u can hang out with her sometime it worked for me! is it just her looks that makes you want to be her friend because you should want to only like hr for her personality i hope this was helpful!GOOD LUCK!

or:I was your age last year. Do not ask her friend. What you want to do is get her to know you. You can do this during joint fieldtrips or during clubs she is in. Then, once she gets to know you are a good guy, she'll hang out with you more. Flirt with her. By the way, it doesn't take a year to do this. When you ask her out, make at night to make it more exciting for her. For instance, do it at a school dance. Make sure you think of what to say beforehand.
