Is there a way to block internet access for a certain amount of time?
i have a paper due in two days but i just cant seem to stay focused on writing it. im working on my computer and the internet just keeps popping up an

is there any way(software, programming, etc.) to disable it just for a certain amount of time (say, like an hour..) so that ill be able to finish my work?

or:Unplug your router or turn off the wireless function on your laptop. Or you can set time limits for Internet access via Parental controls in Vista and later versions.
or:You need to install a gateway/firewall appliance or server which can act as a proxy server. Proxy hosting space could enforce guidelines relating to surfing around the world wide web while in particular time only, or accessing only company associated websites.
