Is there anyway to tell if he likes me back?

So I was talking to this guy I really like on FB for the first time and we talked for 1/2 an hour and we had a long talk about music mostly because he

So I was talking to this guy I really like on FB for the first time and we talked for 1/2 an hour and we had a long talk about music mostly because he loves music and plays the guitar really well! I took lots of interest in what he was saying and try'd to keep him as interested in me as I was in him. At the end of the conversation he said `going to bed soon ttyl.` Is there anyway to tell if he likes me back even just by the way he says things?
(I do see him almost everyday at school and usually can`t take my eyes off of him)

or:Wait and see if he starts conversations with you, instead of the other way around. If he does he is most likely interested or finds you fun to talk to!

or:Don't rush things, there is a time for everything. You could continue being friend to him, continue your good conversation and sharing of knowledge. That's a good start of a good foundation of a relationship. Don't expect to much, you could end up crying and hurting.
