Showing my horse?
I have a horse who I ride bit less but to show she needs to be on a bit to show so i need to switch her over to a bit but I would like a very gentile
I have a horse who I ride bit less but to show she needs to be on a bit to show so i need to switch her over to a bit but I would like a very gentile bit because she is good with out one also I was wondering if I should use protective boots on her I'm ging to be doing novice western speed events

or:There are various kinds of bits, I would contact your trainer and/or vet and ask what they would suggest, I also advise easing your horse into the bit if he/she has never used one before. It can be a long process from going bitless straight into using a bit and it takes practice. Have your trainer help you find the best bit that will fit your horses comfort, the more comfortable your horse is the more comfortable you will be. Hope this helped :)
