What are good brands/products for the FAIR-skinned in terms of facial makeup? "Pale" = yellow on me?

Im a redhead. That means super pale skin (you know, translucent/blue/freckled) and when I try most drugstore products in the fairest shades available,

I'm a redhead. That means super pale skin (you know, translucent/blue/freckled) and when I try most drugstore products in the fairest shades available, they're still too dark and make my face orange/yellow.

These include:
Loreal "Pale"
Neutrogena (tinted moisturizer) "Ivory to Fair"
Physician's Formula (mineral wear) "Translucent/Light"

These are all a bit too dark! :/ What do you suggest I try to get rid of the dreaded orange face? I've heard that lavender/purple bases are good on pale skin, but haven't tried any yet.

or:I'm pale-skinned too and I've tried many foundations. Neutrogina liquid makeup foundation works well but with a lot of blending. You could always try a powder foundation. I use NYX stay matte but not flat powder foundation. I hope this works for you :) I would also try blue to bring out your eyes.
