What does my dream mean... I have been having a lot of dreams like this lately?

I just had a pretty strange dream and im trying to figure out what it means? It started off with me going back in time to a few months ago and I was stranded in a desert. I was alone and walking down a random sidewalk when I came across my ex-girlfriends cell phone. I picked it up off the ground and looked at it closely then I remember that she recently cheated on me and the whole time she was just using me and playing with my feelings. I decided to open the phone and look at the screen, everything that was written was about me and her being together and memories of times we had together. Suddenly the phone rang so I answered it and it was her, but the weird thing was she had no idea who i was and i realized that i was back in time before i met her. I started talking to her and began walking down the sidewalk again. I came across a store that I recognized from in my town and told her that i would return the phone I had found to her by leaving it at the stores lost and found. After I hung up I thought about it though and decided that I would hold onto the phone until I saw her so I could see her again and give it to her in person and make sure the phone was returned to her. Suddenly it got very dark out and I got this feeling that I was late for something very important. I got nervous and worried and I tried to run down the sidewalk hoping to find somewhere familiar soon, but I couldn't run fast it was like i was stuck in slow motion. Suddenly it felt s if something was chasing me, but I still could not get out of running in slow motion, and the whole time I was running I was holding onto the cell phone really tight in my hand. The sidewalk began to get covered in obstacles and I felt like the thing chasing me was getting closer and was going to catch me and at one point I came across a big orange poisonous snake, but I couldn't stop running and continued toward the snake. Then right at the last minute I jumped over it and continued to run in slow motion. After running for what seemed like forever I came across a giant concrete wall with a door I stopped opened the door and there was a road with my family in a car waiting for me. I got in the car with them and felt relieved and finally safe, and then I woke up..... Like I said it was a weird dream but I have been having a lot of dreams like this lately and was wondering if anyone can help me know what it means?
