Andy brings over 15 years of corporate finance and automotive technology finance experience and leadership to the company. Prior to joining the company in April 2019, he served as Senior Director of Business Operations Finance for Cox Automotive with financial planning and execution responsibility for Cox Automotive Digital Retailing, Dealertrack F&I, Lender Solutions, and Dealer.com. From 2013 - 2015 he served as a Senior Director of Business Finance for Dealertrack Technologies with oversight of Dealer.com finances in addition to Dealertrack’s Lender technology businesses. From 2011 - 2013, he led the FP&A & Revenue Analytics efforts and was an integral part of the M&A team for Dealer.com resulting in a sale of the company to Dealertrack Technologies for over $1 billion USD. Before moving into automotive tech finance in 2011, Andy was a part of the equity capital markets group at Keefe Bruyette & Woods in New York and Boston. Andy received a BA in Economics from Middlebury College. John Brasher Chief Operating Officer As the Chief Operating Officer, John is focused on the company’s growth, including the rapid expansion into the United States market. Brasher brings more than 30 years of automotive auction knowledge and experience to the senior leadership team. He joins EBlock from ServNet, where he held the position of executive director. Prior to that, he was president of Brasher's West Coast Auto Auctions from 2001 to 2016. He worked for two years as a General Manager for ADESA, and was a founding partner of AuctionPipeline in 2005, which is now Auction Edge. Brasher, a third-generation automotive entrepreneur, has served on numerous industry boards and association committees, and has played an active role in the remarketing industry. Jai Macker Chief Product Officer As Chief Product Officer for EBlock, Jai is responsible for driving and delivering on innovation that will enable deeper product penetration and scale in both current and new markets. Jai Macker is a senior product and engineering leader with a passion for building and bringing innovative products to market and 19 years of experience doing so across startups and enterprises in the automotive industry. In his prior role as Senior Vice President of Product and Engineering, Consumer Solutions at Cox Automotive, Jai had responsibility for the two largest and most trusted automotive consumer brands in the US - Autotrader and Kelley Blue Book. In this role, Jai partnered across the enterprise to create a focus on value delivery and develop a true innovation pipeline. This resulted in faster speed to market across the board, including launching the “All-New Autotrader”— a faster, more personalized online shopping experience that delivers true price confidence for consumers, resulting in more engagement, higher quality leads and actual car sales for dealer clients. Prior to Cox Automotive, Jai helped scale Dealer.com from a startup of 12 people to become the leader in automotive digital marketing with over 1000 employees, starting as a developer and then holding leadership roles across Engineering, Product and Business Unit, eventually resulting in the company’s acquisition. With 20+ years of auction-industry experience, Jason has held various leadership roles as an Operations Manager, Sales Manager, Assistant GM, GM and Regional Sales Director for Northeast USA. A member of the ‘top 40 under 40’ class of 2018, he spent his career working with ADESA Vancouver, ADESA Ottawa and TradeRev USA prior to joining the EBlock team. Ryan O'Connor Founder and CIO Micheal Ryan O’Connor’s career in automotive started with owning a few dealerships at the beginning of the Dot com boom. In the early 2000’s he began investing heavily in his dealerships' online presence which lead to the birth of EDealer in 2004. The EDealer path lead O’Connor towards partnering with Dmitry Vodiansky who joined EDealer as the CTO in 2015. Together in 2016 they launched EBlock which is now recognized by the Globe and Mail as Canada’s fastest growing automotive tech company.
