We are placemakers, placeshapers and people focussed. We value the community as experts on their lived experience. We seek to engage community members of all ages, abilities and ethnicities in shaping a built environment that is inclusive, welcoming, attractive, safe, comfortable, well-loved and maintained. We utilise arts, culture, heritage and identity to build capacity and empower communities to express their ideas. Through our codesign process we help Clients unlock capacity in their sites and their communities, to deliver mutually beneficial solutions and outcomes for all. Global Urban Design is a creative, Social Enterprise limited by guarantee. Proceeds from consultancy services are reinvested in social missions including training, mentoring and capacity building, promoting sound urban design and inclusive place design principles and collaborating with others on community benefit projects.
