Working together for a green, competitive and inclusive Europe Individual Placement and Support for NEETs through Education Youth Technology Platform (EYTP) Introduction The main objective of the project is to enhance the counselling competence of the coaches from Slovenia, Romania and Hungary in the Maturing Model (MM) and Individual Placement and Support (IPS) methodology and using it in combination with the Education Youth Technology Platform (EYTP), in a way that will increase the number of NEETs in vocational training, education and employment compared to the present situation. The two target groups of the project are coaches providing counselling and the NEETs themselves. The project aims to focus on two fund support areas: 1) Innovation and exploration The innovative part is the development of the web based comprehensive EYTP platform. This will be an important resource site and a tool in the counselling work. All platform materials like E-learning and project website supporting the MM and IPS, will be available in all partner languages. 2) Transfer of know-how and good practice This part aims at transferring expert knowledge in the use of MM and IPS from Norway and introduce and implement this methodology in the beneficiary countries. IPS is a systematic approach helping NEETs to achieve permanent employment. IPS is based on a Supported Employment philosophy and offers systematic follow-up. MM implies providing NEETs with an individual period of time which will be used for motivation and to get ready for the more formal counselling work using the IPS model. The combination of MM and IPS methodology will represent a two-step counselling methodology in the work with work practice and vocational rehabilitation for NEETs. The implementation of this two step methodology and the use of EYTP will hopefully be adopted by other organisation than the project partners, and thus be sustainable and have an impact after the timeframe of the project.
