or:For all intents and purposes that account is your parents account, you can neither make a deposit nor make a withdrawal and if you do so it will be logged adn the account holders (your parents) informed. If the account is legally on your behalf but in their name then while a deposit can be made by the account holders (parents) they cannot make a withdrawal without your express permission. In other words it's like a piggy bank but they are the only ones who can put stuff in (you may be able to as well, it depends on how tha account is set up) and only you AND your parents can take stuff out.
