9 year old son just wont wipe probably?

can people please help or give advise: we have a 9 year son who is not wiping n is smelling.. we have spoken to him taken things away n he just says

or:Ignore what he says. It's just superficial anyway. What does he do? Does he return to the bath and make repairs? That's what you want him to do. Don't you? If he doesn't, you might have to immediately stop what you're doing and do it yourself. This embarrassment will not be too bad to really hurt him but will be painful enough to push him to do the job right the first time. Keep us posted. I'd like to know what really did work the best and how my idea worked if you tried it.
