Adderall - Mood Swings?

I started taking Adderall regularly a few years ago. At first, it was like a miracle pill. Finally, I felt like my brain was functioning like a normal person. I was very detailed, very analytical, and very motivated. Over the years, I have progressively increased my dosage to achieve the same results. Currently, on a daily basis, I am taking 40-55mg of Adderall XR (25mg, 15mg, 15mg), which is a VERY high dosage considering it's extended release and not the instant release. Each increase in dosage has resulted in new side effects. The one side effect I am currently experiencing is mood swings. For those who know me well, I am a super happy, cheery guy and can be pretty damn passive. Now, if you said one wrong thing, I turn into Katie Kaboom and am likely to bite your head off, for no reason I might add. I've also lost a ton of weight, which in my case, is not a good thing considering I was already thin.

Your insight would be greatly appriciated!

or:did you increase the dosage or did your dr increase the dosage its not a good thing to have done it yourself it can be a bad thing to increase it your self your not a dr so i suggest that you contact your dr and let him know what you have done cause you could harm your self really bad to more harm then good i'm sure your dr would increase your medication if he thought you needed it or combined another medication to help with the adderall to accomplish the same out come
