After 4 days of using proactive my face has started burning after using it. What should I do?

I've been using proactive for 5 days now and it recently started burning my face after applying step 2: pore targeting treatment as well as step 3: complexion perfecting hydrator. But I went to the mountains before that and when I got back I started using proactive, i got sun burnt, so could that be the reason while its burning or is my face reacting to using proactive? I've also tried applying lotion to my face afterwards because im peeling from my sunburn but it also burns. The burning only lasts about 5-10 minutes at the most.
