Average height for a 13-14 year old girl?
Im 13, turning 14 in 4 months. My height is 5"2. All of my friends are a year younger than I am, and the majority of them are taller than me, and
I'm 13, turning 14 in 4 months. My height is 5"2. All of my friends are a year younger than I am, and the majority of them are taller than me, and earlier in puberty. I have two friends that are 5"4, and one friend that's 5"5 All female). My mother is 5"3 and my father is 5"6-7. It just doesn't make sense to me that many people in my grade are taller than me, but they're younger. I'm told I'm average. Most of my friends haven't started, or just started their period (they tell me everything. Ha ha ) and I started mine a little over a year ago, and I heard that had to do with height. or:There is no average height. Your age doesn't determine your height. Genetics and things like nutrition does. Your friends might have got tall genes (from their mother or father) and you got the small genes. Girls don't necessarily start their periods as the same as everyone else. No need to worry.
