I am thinking of building a wooden boat in 32 inch sections that will fit together horizontally using 90 degree brackets(inside and outside to pull the sections tight) and bolts to pull them tight vertically. I am wonder if wood on wood tension would be water proof or if I need to attach rubber strips seams?
