or:it depends on the laws of your state. in some states if your over 18 and your girlfriend(im guessing this is what your asking) is under 18 but within 2 years of your age (ex your 19 and shes 17 and a half) then it is legal. check your state laws. If its a relative it would also be ok. the hotel might also have its own rules such as they have to be related or straight up be the parents to book him or her with them. again it changes state to state so check with a hotel if anything. its not illegal to ask.
