I been with my bf for 1yr and about 7months. I'm black and he's white... Anyways so I've been around his mom , brothers and sister plenty of times (they live with him) . They are really nice to me and I feel very comfortable around them. His other family member don't seem to welcoming... I'm talking about his female cousins... They don't even know me and they barely talk to me. One of the cousins made a comment about me when I wasn't around but I was in their house, she said "he can do better than me" . His other aunt has showed signs that she dosent care for me either but she smiles in my face. I feel like they're jealous of me or maybe they don't like me bc I'm black idk but this isn't the first time she said something about me. Him and His mom brothers and sister take up for me but it really hurts me feelings bc I haven't did anything wrong and now I don't even want to be around them. I am currently upset and I feel like I don't even want to be with my bf bc his family disrespects me and my family would never do something like that to him ! He treats me well but the fact that his aunts talk about me is pushes me away from him. What should I do?

or:You ned to let him know how you are feeling. When you are around them be as sweet as possible and give them a reason to not dislike you. Bake them cookies and talk to them politely. They will soon learn to appreciate you. Just remember not to let this get in between you and your boyfriend's relationship.
