this sounds disgusting but i went to the bathroom and i was on my phone texting someone and i got up and forgot to wash my hands. later, i was out and a baby dropped their passifier so i picked it up for them and handed it to the mom, and she decided to put it back in the baby’s mouth even after being on the floor. then i realized i had gone to the bathroom without washing my hands and just touched that poor baby’s passifier. is the baby going to die?? i’m worried sick! someone please answer for me

or:Why do you think the law requires people who work in kitchens to wash their hands before coming back to work?

or:No, the baby is not going to die because it had a dirty pacifier in it's mouth. Babies touch all sorts during the day with their hands and mouths, they come in contact with germs a lot but that is what strengthens their immune systems. It's ok (within reason) to come in contact with some germs. Don't worry, but it's still a good idea to wash your hands after going to the bathroom! :-)
