Can a landlord take space from the apt that am renting from her. It's a closet now she wants to use?

I rented this place 3 years ago. I like it because of a big closet. The house was sold 1 year ago. We been living without problems. And yesterday the owner call me and said tha i need to empty the closet Because she needs the extra space. Can she do that. Please i need advice. She lives in 1st floor & i live in 2nd floor where the closet is. Thanks for you answer.

or:legally she would have to give you the notice to move but in a way she should pay to move you somewhere else you might have to take her to court.

or:Have you signed any legal agreement? If so, the answer is no.Then you will have a notice time to depart of 21 days.If you have signed a rental agreement she cannot do that legally.
