I understand that genes mutate all the time, so I wanted to know if DNA can be warped to the extent that it's unrecognizable. If DNA is found at the crime scene but the killer remains illusive, will the DNA change to the point that it won't match? Or what about DNA based biometric verification, I know technology isn't that advanced but if it ever happens will someones ability to access devices decay over time?

or:I'm no expert but once you map a genome (say from a DNA sample at a crime scene) you should always have the results. And slight changes to the person's genome over time shouldn't be enough to make it unrecognizable. So unless they turn into the hulk or something, ya, they should still be recognizable based off DNA.

or:Please go to some expertise laboratory for good results.
