or:Hey, my name is James I\u2019m a Junior and I\u2019m running for class president for Drama Club, they nominations haven\u2019t happened yet, so I was wondering if I can just say \u201cI nominate myself for class president\u201d or does someone else have to say that. (I nominate James for class president)

or:You could nominate yourself for club president if there is no one in the club, if there are you need the club members to decide who would be club president. In some situations whoever founded the club would be the club president.
