I have Subzero model drawer fridge which is rated for 110 Volts and 60 Hertz. Can I run this fridge on 110 Volts 50 Hertz for the long term ? I have tried for a couple of hours and it seems to be working fine and the LED display looks normal.

or:Maybe. The motor for 50 Hz is designed with more iron to carry the magnetic field. It still works at 60 Hz but at lower efficiency. That means it might overheat. And it might not. Don't leave it plugged in when you leave the house. If you don't smell a strange odor within the first week or so then it might be ok.

or:Electronic devices used internal power supplies to rectify and lower the voltage for inner use will handle 50/60 Hz with no a problem. Some of these devices don't care too much about the voltage either, allowing anything from 100VAC to 260VAC. I've even known people to take the risk and run their mains TVs on 100VDC without the TV having an issue. The danger here is that DC is prone to arcing and an unsafe connection could do a great agreement of damage.
