He has a criminal conviction assist charge and we are finding it hard to get insurance

Can I take a policy out myself to cover all contents in our flat?
Or does he need to be named?

Would it make the policy invalid if needed to claim?

or:Well if his name on the rental agreement or just you? you might have to put him on there i would ask a insurance person its possible it just depends on the insurance company
