Can I terminate a lease while on HUD?

I am in month 5 of a lease on HUD. I recently fell on ice and got injured (severe vertigo and bad shoulder spasm) due to my landlords lack of maintaining the property which has been an ongoing issue for the past 4 years that I've lived here. I am not the only one who had fallen and sustained injuries due to my landlords not maintaining the property. I did notify my landlords of the accident immediately but it still took them 3 hours to get out here and put ice melt down. Can I terminate my lease immediately due to good cause and not lose my HUD voucher? I cannot risk my daughter getting hurt due to my landlords constant neglect.
