or:If you're old enough to feed yourself, no. If you're old enough to feed yourself, you're also old enough to take yourself to the doctor. If you're underage, she can be charged with Failure to Provide Necessities of Life.

If this is the case, she may not get arrested but you would, rather, be taken by children and families and put into the care of a stranger. I am in Australia, so this might vary for you but I am guessing that the principals are the same. If you are over eighteen, you are capable of getting your own food and taking yourself to the doctor...However, if your parent is abusive, then seek help out of the internet.
