Can someone explain this joke as I don't get it please? Can mouth mean a person in Irish slang?

or:I'm guessing that Murphy objectifies his lady, as if only her mouth is of value to him.
or:It's referring to the fact that 'all women do is talk' in this case it's most likely his wife/girlfriend. Because she nags/complains/never stops talking he is calling her 'the mouth'.
