We have an extra yardside with a empty basement in the ground. The top of the house was removed so it's only the cement walls left standing. Is it possible to renovate it into a pool cuz that would be awesome.

or:You will need a planning permit at the very least. Pools often encourage rising damp and can make your whole house smell like chlorine if done badly. Pools also take a ton of maintenance. Get an engineer or architect to look at it for you before you just dive in. Consider getting a Sauna ?
