i don't always listen to techno but when i do i mostly listen to a group called "xyla" something about their music gives me a feeling i can only describe as being high. while i'm listening i'm not able to multitask as good and i have a natural talent for multitasking. i also get other feelings i can't describe either. when i'm not listening to "xyla" i can focus and think more clearly.

i was wondering if this experience is common or normal.

or:Yes! The Russian scientist Pavlof found certain lights and sounds can actually make someone think or do things they wouldn't normally do.Acid Rock & Heavy metal are examples. Some sounds in Charismatic/pentecostal music has been known to effect people in that way.Several found groups like Phil Keggy's music makes them high.He is an old friend from Ithaca & it effected myself & friends that way.Phil is a cool person & a super fantastic guitar player but something about his(& others) music made me & several friends feel that way.A Christian group in Va in the 70's found certain music while causing a \"high\" also triggered lust when nothing was sexual in that assembly so they repeated it and came up with the same results.I am not aware of more studies done in that area.
