Can you re freeze meat that has been thawed in refrigerator over night?

or:as long as it hasn't been taken out of the bag see it was left to thaw out you should cook it but as long as it wasn't taken out of the bag i think you would be okay if its refreezed i would see about cooking it as soon as you can you don't want it to freezer burn
