The internet is in my name. The router is owned by my roommate and he recently locked me out by changing the login info. When I called my internet provider, they weren't really helpful and said that the only thing I can really do is terminate the service as a whole and open a new account. (This option will result in cancellation and start up fees.) I have little problem getting a router of my own, but is there anything I can do to prevent him from leeching off my connection before obtaining a new router and after?
