Did I fracture a bone in my hand?

Okay, so a week ago I pissed off a friend of mine. She was so angry that she literally whipped her cell phone at me. Keep in mind this is a full size smartphone. One of the corners of the phone hit me in the middle of the back of my hand, right over one of the bones. After it happened, I was crying hysterically for an hour because it hurt so bad. In fact, it hurt the whole remainder of the night, even with ice. It bruised but the bruising went away in a few days.

It has now been a whole week and since that night my hand has been aching very painfully. It's worst where my hand was hit and it radiates up my arm and down my fingers. The bone itself hurts when I touch it with my finger. The pain is worse at night and I have been losing a lot of sleep. I seem to have a lot of function still but my hand feels weak, my fingers shake a little, and I can't really carry anything with that hand.

My question is should I go into the ER for this or wait another week until my doctor has an appointment available?
