Did Romans use specially trained soldiers for crucifixions, or regular army soldiers?

I am interested to find out if during the crucifixion era Romans used regular soldiers for executions, or were there specially trained full time executioners on this work? I specially mean the the time of Jesus crucifixion. If they were regular army soldiers then they must have gotten some training how to do this, or were all soldiers taught how to execute a crucifixion?
