Ok massively in love with a girl but it's happened at the wrong time. I told myself I would be single for at least the next two years following a long term relationship and do all the things I want to (travel, have my own space, develop etc...) so really not sure what to do. Feel like I'm always going to regret not asking her out but also feel like I need to live life to the max a bit before I'm too old. Any views appreciated

or:well you shouldn't worry about something like that just because you didn't wait sometimes things happen for a reason so if you look at things that way you don't want to deny your self happiness just because it wasn't planned doesn't mean a bad thing for once in a life time you just take time and don't rush into something thats the way to handle things be a bit more open about what you want don't deny yourself our this gal happiness its just not worth it
or:You sound a bit self absorbed. Plans are only workable if they are flexible. Take it from someone who knows.....love isn't always on time. Nor is it always available with a good man or woman. Is it possible that you're looking for a way out of this future (maybe) relationship because of the ending of your last one? Sometimes we put mental obstacles in our way on purpose to sabotage our own actions. What I'm hearing is not the concrete plan, but a fear of jumping into another relationship after ending your last long term one. Which is completely understandable.
