Do we get to keep the money the hospital sent us because insurance overpaid?

We had a baby and had 2 insurances at the time. One was through my employer and the other was an individual plan purchased through the marketplace.

We had a baby and had 2 insurances at the time. One was through my employer and the other was an individual plan purchased through the marketplace. Months after having the baby, we received a check from the hospital because our secondary insurance overpaid. The hospital said that our secondary insurance, because it is a private individual plan, does not coordinate with our primary insurance. So they paid towards the full amount due, and not what was left after our primary insurance paid. We have called multiple times, and the hospital said that the money belongs to us since we pay the monthly premiums on the policy. We called insurance and they don't seem to show anything where they overpaid. Is the money really ours to keep?
