or:Parents give children whatever they need because they are obligated to and there are child labor laws. There is no need to pretend they are working for it or earning it. Giving them what they \"need\" is not going to spoil them. However, wasting money in front on them and giving them anything they want, whenever they want is going to obviously build bad habits & devalue money. But, that assumes you think that is bad. Say they get used to an expensive lifestyle, but then the money runs out. Maybe that's motivation for them to achieve to get that lifestyle back. It's only one variable, which depends on other motivations.
