IMHO, there has to be both evil and good, since humans have been struggling for eons to develop themselves into one or the other. It is, I think, all a matter of personal choice. It's what people THINK and/or DO that others can call \"evil\". Humans are not. We're like a clean slate at birth and we ruin ourselves or make ourselves always better. Sometimes, by the time we pass on, we are a big mix of both.
or:Try to remember that \"knowing good and evil\" was one of the serpent's lies to Eve. It was a lie because \"good and evil\" are opinions, not facts. The story also indicates that humans are inherently helpless against the devil's lies when they don't follow God's instructions.
