or:I do! a lot of the songs I can relate to for example my grandfather recently passed away so sometimes I'll listen to songs that remind me of him especially sad songs
or:I listen to some sad songs because sometimes the words give me solutions to a situation I might be thinking about or may even answer a question I had. I also enjoy poetry for the same reason. Songs are really just poetry with music added. There are some very famous songs that most people overlook. Oldies but goodies as some people put it. These seem to say a lot more then some songs we listen to today. Even way back in Bible times songs were written that had real meaning, not only for that time period, but even for today. One example is The Song Of Solomon, foundin the Bible at Song of Solomon Chapter 4, verse 1-4.In our day there have been many songs written that say the same things, just in a different way, that makes one think deep thoughts.This may be a little deep, but makes for interesting read.
