Does denied credit card due to age of under 18 affect further credit score in Canada?

I mistakenly applied for walmart mastercard. The cashier explained me as if it is just a point card. The cashier tried to check instant credit, but of course it didn't work because I have no credit as I am under 18. Then, as I got the receipt paper that the application is not finished so further informations will be mailed to home, I noticed I applied for credit card. But the problem is I am under 18 and I have no credit history. Also, I am a foreign student studying in Canada. Of course the card will be denied. Does it affect my further credit score in Canada? The only information I gave is my name, address, year and date of birth, phone number and driver's license number(ID). I don't have SIN number.
