Does military police get called if a military child gets in a fight at school?

or:I am currewntly active duty Army and also an MP. The base I am stationed only has to 6th grade. All the kids who are in highschool choose from one of three highschools right off of the installation. If there is a fight involving a dependent, they do not notify the military police due to jurisdiction isues. They will handle it internally and/or contact local authorities.
