Does my girlfriend need pregnancy Medicaid if she already has Medicaid under her mother?

My girlfriend is pregnant and we went to the free woman's pregnancy center in Ocala to get her proof of pregnancy and first ultra sound at 6 weeks 6 days. After that we ask when would be her next ultra sound because we are both new to this. They told us we can't come to them anymore, that now she needs to get pregnancy Medicaid to cover her going to a doctor for everything else. But does she need to do that if she already has Medicaid from her mother ?? Wouldn't Medicaid cover that. The woman's pregnancy center was free so they never asked for and insurance. She's already signed up for maternity at the heart of Florida and got wic through the health department.
