My parent hit me once in the face a while ago because we were arguing and I was being a brat. The person was under lots of stress and hasn't done it since. But does this count as child abuse?

or:It depends on what you did. If they hit you for no reason probably yes. If they had an extremely good reason then no. If you were arguing I would expect a parent would \"banish\" their child to your room. If you're worried about it talk to a friend or someone else BUT who smacked you. If it happened several months ago it wouldn't matter
