I am a sophomore in highschool, and joined the cross-country team two months ago. This is when I met a girl on the same team, she is a freshman in high school. First time ive met her, & we became friends almost right off the bat. She obviously enjoys being around me, she is always happy when I invite her to run with me and things like that. She always smiles if our eyes happen to meet. She does touch me now and then, whether it be just playful teasing or brushing up against me and things like that. I do notice that she tends to stay physically close to me alot. I had an injury while running one day, and so that evening she came by unexpectedly just to see me. We can talk about just about anything.

She has said there was one boy she liked, and she mentioned how he said he liked her. Thats all she said about him. I didnt think so at the time, but for all I know she could have been talking about me, as one time I said that I liked her, but it was more in the context of like a friend rather than romantically...

So, I guess its obvious that she "likes" me, but I dont know if its just as a friend, or maybe more. I would be lying if I said I didnt have feelings for her, so I would really like to know. How should I approach this?

or:You should talk with her. When it comes to love you should always keep in mind that life is too short to waste it on thinking wheather you should express your emotions or just keep them for yourself. Hearts are often broken by words that are left unspoken. You only live once so make the best of it, go talk with her cause I'm sure she likes you. Good luck :)
