Like if someone who went through a depression, trauma, or something else in life, would have a better (romantic) relationship with someone who went through similar things, since they can relate and know how to console, understand and help their partner?
Or is it better if one of them had a perfecly happy childhood, upbringing and life, since they don't have "emotional bagage"?

(I've found that "happy life" people can sometimes ignore if someone mentions having a flashback or something, like it wasn't anything important, and not be as comforting as someone who dealt with struggles, who care more about others feelings)

(I find this this interesting^^)

or:I sometimes think \"easy life\" people are ignorant of those who have had it more difficult and they really don't understand anything but their own easy life. I've even been told off for mentioning that I had difficulties by people who are very tolerant (but apparently not of people having a difficult past).

or:If opposites attract than no, but if two of the same go together than yes. Love is tricky with these kind of things. sometimes two go together because they are opposite and make up for what the other isn't and in the end go better together. Or two of the same come together because the have gone on similar experiences and know what it's like.
