our earth rotates with the speed of 1037 m/h now an aeroplane flies above the earth with the speed of 1037 m/h then why aero plane reaches at other place of earth while earth is also rotating with same speed. plane should remain at the same place even after 1 hour of flight bcz both are moving with same speed please can anybody answer me ?

or:Rotation speed is relative to the center, and the airplane's speed is relative to the air or the ground. However, a plane flying north or south does not fly directly toward its desired destination, because the destination is moving east at a different speed from the airplane's speed. A plane at 45 degrees north is moving 1037 x 0.707 = 733 mph and a point on the equator is moving 1037 mph. So if flight time is one hour, the destination moves 304 miles farther east than the plane does, so the plane has to fly at an angle.
